Toronto, March 2, 2020 – Trumpeting the return of one of the most coveted industry awards, Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends (CMHOL), run by the Toronto chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Toronto), today revealed its 2020 Selection Committee.
The Selection Committee, chaired by 2014 inductee David Kincaid, Founder and Managing Partner, Level5 Strategy, will judge this year’s entries and announce Canada’s newest Marketing Legends on March 20.
“Nomination and induction into Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends is an enormous accomplishment — a recognized mark of distinction in our industry,” says Kincaid. "To be on the judging panel and part of the re-launch of Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends is also an exciting tribute that has attracted a choice jury.”
“The judges are an extremely distinguished and diverse group of experts that represent an array of disciplines and expertise in the marketing industry,” says Xzavier Ramphal, co-VP, CMHOL. “Their broad career experience and invaluable insights will provide a strong platform for a comprehensive discussion and credible decision-making prowess.”
“Our Selection Committee typifies the Canadian marketing industry, with representatives from British Columbia and the Maritimes, across gender, and across category, from agency, advertiser, educational institutions, marketing press, and marketing associations,” adds Jacob Kessler co-VP CMHOL.
Nominations for CMHOL are still open and run until March 4. Details about the Legend Awards and submission form is available at https://www.amamarketinghalloflegends.ca/.
This year’s Legend Award winners will be formally recognized and honoured by AMA Toronto and CMHOL’s Selection Committee on April 28. Information for the dinner celebration can be found at https://www.ama-toronto.com/events/marketing-hall-of-legends-inductee-dinner.
